This is the state’s largest coldwater production station for several species of trout and kokanee salmon. It is also the site of one of the largest natural springs in the world. The hatchery produces over 130 thousand pounds of fish a year. It is open to the public from dusk to dawn every day of the week. There is a park that is maintained by the City of Lewistown. There is a pond where you can buy food and feed the fish. There is wildlife viewing, picnicking, volleyball, baseball fields, picnic shelters, and restrooms available. There are trails around the springs.
